Haryana waives market fee on pulses

Haryana government has decided to exempt market fee on pulses used as raw material in food processing industries located within the state by making amendment in Haryana Agri Business and Food Processing Policy-2018. The Agriculture Department had already approved this exemption in accordance with Rule 30(6) of Haryana Agricultural Produce Markets (General) Rules, 1962.

A decision to this effect was taken in the meeting of State Cabinet which met under the Chairmanship of chief minister, Manohar Lal said today.

This decision regarding exemption of Market Fee on pulses/dals will boost industrialization in the state resulting in employment generation and improvement in state economy, ultimately benefit to farmers in terms of better procurement price of their produce.
